I found a new place on 163 Hester St. They have tasty steamed teas there. I didn't try their food because I had lunch that day with a friend. We were searching for an after meal tea and we stumbled onto this place called YaYa Tea Garden. It's a quaint little hole-in-the-wall type of shop. They serve stuff like Takoyaki, Onigiri, Tempura, Noodles and different types of sandwiches. You should give it a try sometime. Oh, and post one of your awesome reviews because I didn't get a chance to eat there. :D That'd be really cool.

I don't get to go to Chinatown too often now... do you know Penang? It's down the street from Elizabeth Center. Keep going along that block until you see that gigantic supermarket on your right. Make a left and it's got this pink little awning and glass doors. Don't know if I could find time to take you. D;
I checked out google maps. They really need to update, but what they show you on the map is the exact place where YaYa Tea Garden is. The store front is just different. :D Hope that helps.
